C A S A C O O K .

As a few of you may know one of our favourite hotel and weekend getaway is Casa Cook. We have done a blog post about it before seen here.  We managed to sneak in a four day mini vacay. The hotel should be on everyones travel list, it is the most perfect tranquil adult only hotel, a little oasis situated at the bottom of a gorgeous mountain range, but close enough to civilaisation and a couple of beaches. The hotel is in a area called Kolymbia.

We have been to Rhodes many times, it one of our favourite little getaway destinations as its not too far from Istanbul. We took a flight to fethiye and then a two hour ferry trip. Our ferry docked at Rhodes old town port and we took a taxi through to the hotel. We were greeted by familiar faces Nikos and Mika , who were so so helpful our entire stay, helping us with everything we needed and more.

We spent a lot of time at the hotel this trip as we wanted to just unwind and relax, also having been to Rhodes before we felt like we had done most of the ‘sights.  Poolside paradise at every turn, each 'casa' has access to their own private veranda pools. The decor really aesthetically shows the passion put into creating this hotel. The earthy warm tones and rigid vs fluid surfaces. The weather was absolutely perfect as the nights are still warm and the days are really hot - perfect for tanning in the shade ;)

We rented a small car and drove to our favourite beach, Anthony Quinn bay and Ladiko beach. It’s a little hidden gem that not too tourists know about, the water is crystal clear and the pebble beach is dipped with grass umbrellas and multi colored sun loungers. The following day we got up early and drove down to Saint Pauls bay spent the full day laying in the sun, drinking aperols, flying my drone and engalved in the sea. We had take away lunch which was octopus, calamari and tzatziki with garlic naan bread. The little beach restaurant was called Tambiko.

We highly recommend spending some time on Rhodes and discovering everything it has to offer.
